INTRODUCTION:

From the name mini it is known that the phone is a cheap android phone and no doubt the phone will be the best competitor in the market. They are desirable and fill a market gap of small, easy-to-carry devices. Its functions are analogous to big galaxy editions. It is the right choice for android and Smartphone newbie and for those who are not ready to spend a large bucket of money on a Smartphone.

OUTER LOOK:

The phone’s outer body is made entirely with plastic, looks high quality. There is no issue on fingerprints. At 110.4 x 60.8 x 12.1 mm, the handset weighs 105 grams and it fits in a pocket.

The green accent around the edges of the Samsung Galaxy Mini gives it a nice flamboyant look. It looks fun and fresh for a long. As a Smartphone from Samsung family it has three buttons at the bottom: menu key in the centre; options key on the left; back key on the right.

Screen:

This Galaxy pop has 3.14” TFT touch screen of QVGA resolution, which tells that the phone costs low. The low resolution is the one which you want to live with galaxy pop. It makes the phone not suited to most apps of android. However the phone supports multi touch. Colour and contrast is quite good. You have to manually set the brightness to match changing lighting conditions.

Sides:

On the top, there is a 3.5mm audio jack and the micro USB port with a plastic lid covering it. On the left there are only volume keys. On the right there is power/lock key and micro SD card slot. On the bottom there is only the mouthpiece. Above the screen there is an earpiece with no ambient light sensor.

Back:

The back cover of the Galaxy Mini S5570 is textured for better grip. There is a 3.15 mega pixel camera at the back. Removing the back panel uncovers the 1200mAh battery and the SIM compartment.

Battery:

Galaxy pop uses 1200mAh battery. The battery doesn’t longs as we hope, so we want to use the phone without pushing that much, otherwise you need frequent charging and the battery life lessens.

CAMERA AND VIDEO:

Mini has 3.15 MP fixed-focus camera at the back useful to take photo up to 2048x1536 pixels. But there is no flash or LED. Though, the photos have pleasing colours and contrast.

The phone allows you to shoot video too, but the shots are recorded at 15 frames per second, making little bad when viewed from the large display. So it is not so useful. The video player can handle 3GP and MP4 files, unfortunately not to divx.

AUDIO AND MP3:

The pop is sent with built in TouchWiz music player. There is a loud speaker at the back. The audio quality quite good, didn’t expect in this rate. The audio is exposed in a clean manner.

It is also comes with an FM player with RDS. It can be played in loud speaker also, but the headphones need to be connected to act as an antenna.

GPS:

The pop has GPS with A-GPS, which is very useful to locate the places and to find the root. The application also supports street view mode that makes us to clearly pointing out the places and the surroundings.

Conclusion:

Overall, the galaxy pop s5570 is very good looking phone that fits in a pocket and holds well in hand. The lime coloured frame makes others head to turn towards you. The phone is good for one who looks for cheap android phone. Without recognizing the flaws, it is the best Smartphone in this rate and there is no doubt the phone will be the best competitor.
